John K. Swaim graduated from The University of Phoenix with a Bachelor of Science in Business Accounting in 1999. He began his career as an accountant in 1997 and became a licensed CPA in New Mexico in 2004, and later in Texas in 2013. John also served in the New Mexico Air National Guard for over 23 years; proudly serving in both Operation Desert Storm and Operation Iraqi Freedom. He retired from NMANG in 2009 at the rank of Senior Master Sergeant.

John is an active member of the AICPA, the New Mexico Society of CPA’s, and the Texas Society of CPA’s.

John also worked as a Financial Manager and Chief Financial Officer for a Not-For-Profit for over nine years.

John has been married to his best friend, Christine, since 1991. John and Christine have four children – Ryan, Abigail, Hannah, and Ethan. In his spare time, John enjoys playing golf and watching local professional sports (go Rangers, Cowboys, Mavericks, and Stars), but his favorite pastime is grilling out back with Christine and the kids.
